On Wednesday, February 20th, Cambridge at Home joined forces with Beacon Hill Village for a special visit to the Schlesinger Library at Harvard for "Siting Julia; Julia Child Centenary Exhibition." This exhibition traced Julia's path to becoming one of the most well-known chefs in the world, and documented her travels with husband Paul and their adventures and work in locations such as Paris, Germany, Norway, Cambridge, and the Maine Coast. Members participated in a discussion with Marylene Altieri, Curator of Books and Printed Materials, and then viewed the exhibition. This was followed by a lovely lunch at the Sheraton Commander's
Nubar restaurant.
